• What can you tell me about the corps name selection?
  The corps name was selected on April 7th, 2004 at our 3rd organizational meeting.  Following receipt of more that 100 suggestions form all interested persons, including many submitted through Drum Corp Planet, the name of Excelsior was selected one vote short of unanimously.  The name of Quest was runner up.
• Is the corps incorporated?
  Yes!  We received notification of our incorporation as a not-for-profit organization on May 14, 2004.
• How many individuals were  involved within the first two months of the corps existence?
  There were approximately 25 persons actively involved with the organization with a considerable amount of expressed interest.
• What are your future goals?
  Our goals are constantly under review with our ultimate objective to field a competitive DCA corps for the summer of 2007.   We realize that Rome wasn't built in a day and neither is a good drum & bugle corps.  But to date dedication and commitment in staying the course has resulted in a very successful first year with a very upbeat optimism for the future.
